A little explaining as I go, as a new person in town, a gnome, is a name I found to be poetically appropriate. Home, but not really. I do understand and accept I’m different, so to find safe methods of getting to know my new hometown, have research the other artisans in the area. It is the only quiet way I could learn about the community. I started selling greeting card and pictures At Farmer’s Market this year, My wife Lessie, was market manager this year. I found the market to not fit for me. Most likely, my dementia started during covid. I haven’t noticed much change in brain function, but I spend my time alone, writing, reading being creative with my pictures and budding art projects. Social scenes became difficult, too much noise I couldn’t decipher in to meaning it’s not frightening, just frustrating. I had my ears tested, yes they want to sell me new hearing aids. Yes, they would help a lot, budgeting is in process! I could even hear my wife! I’m excited. The article, “Group is building a community that’s ‘dementia friendly’” in the Oct 11, 2022, issue of the Baker City Herald. Still no real focus on the living person exists. Since I was already working creating this web site as a creative outlet, this where my focus hit. A giant opportunity for learning and giving back. I have an appointment with Lu-Ann Cook, a nurse practitioner at St. Luke’s Eastern Oregon Medical Associates in Baker City. I’m interested her opinions. She is local and needs to accept me, healers must consider you be equal to be effective. I’m already involved at Settler’s Park, volunteering in memory care for a year with Greta and sometimes my wife Lessie. They are like family to us.

If you are one of the many dreamers, it's time we get to know another dreamer. Yes, I have MCI (mild congnitive impairment), and have decided to walk a public walk to help lessen the social stigma of this condition. I have an Epson SureColor P900 archival ink printer and years travel. I make greeting cards, do custom printing.
These are very low prices for this type of printing. I have Polar Matte in stock in sizes up to 17 x 25. The prices represent a 50% price reduction to encourage membership for reduced printing prices. My hope is that these prices are attractive to other Artisans as well everybody else. Cards will be reduced by 50% and sell for $1. If a group develops, artisanaerie.com, goes to the group.

"Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country" was the quote that won the American Legion's essay contest at twelve. My family, very conservative: I'm a life-long Kennedy Democrat. I don't waste time on politics, preferring to donate my time to senior citizens and other worthy causes. I'm diagnosed with MCI, mild cognitive impairment and am active in the Dementia Friendly movement. We need to lessen the stigma; my progress is slow, and I'll be doing it in public. I still have an active Creative Process. I feel so blessed. I'll continue my public dialog as my condition progresses. There is no shame...ONLY opportunity for learning and helping others A win-win in my book. Please join this group for free. Initially this is a free offer. I'm hoping to gather enough common interest to start some dialog. I plan on regular posts of things I find interesting I'm subscribed to https://www.thisiscolossal.com/ for another year. I've entered some of the on my FB group "Artisan Aerie" which anyone is free to join. I spend much of my daydreaming doing web design, journalling, and now dreaming of transforming my existing forms of internet communications. A ripe time for embracing the coming changes with some knowledge. I don't know what I see, but I'm dreaming and reading (expanding) technical information. I'll be posting interesting articles from my research. Please join my group! Limited time free offer.
